根據MAXWELL於My Space更新不久的首頁banner顯示，新系列三部曲專輯之一的首部曲「BLACK」將於今年07.07發行。
而MAXWELL睽違七年的新單曲"Pretty Wings (Uncut)"也於前天(09.04.27)在美國上架，另外還有跨刀與The Alchemist合作的"Smile (feat. Maxwell & Twista)"也將「正式」(之前已經有Promo版本流出)於09.05.05發布。
三部曲專輯預計從09年起依序發行，分別是「BLACK」、「SUMMERS’」、「NIGHT」。
